In my case it does seem to make a difference. When I use the Digium card (and mtp2 in system.conf) the link comes right up. But with the Rhino card I'm forced to use dchan and I can't get it up. I have been beating my head on the wall for weeks. Anyone have any last ideas before I return the Rhino card?

If you are using libss7, then you are likely also using chan_dahdi, and in that case the type of card underneath the DAHDI layer does not matter.
