Hi
I have the following requiremnet of interconnecting GSM BSC with a legacy TDM
MSC.
Mobile phones<---AIR---->BTS/BSC<-----A/IP----->Asterisk with TE
207P<---SS7/TDM/E1----> MSC.
Normally the BSC connects to MSC which supports A over IP.
As far as my knowledge goes A over IP link between BSC and MSC uses SIGTRAN. So
the job of Asterisk will be to convert SIGTRAN to SS7 over TDM. Has anyone
used Asterisk in this fashion ?
