Hi all, more and more perl module authors have changed the minimum required perl version to perl 5.14, because of 10 years perl policy. Some of them doing this, even the running code has no such requirement. How ever an upgrade or the installation of such a module will fail on perl 12.3.
I plan to follow this policy in 2026, but I don't want to bring anyone into trouble. Is still anyone using a perl version before 5.14.0 for assp? If so, please send a hint to me using the forum or the mailing list. Thomas
