Yes - this is possible - BUT

1. this path was never changed - the lowest version I have is 1.1.0 from
04.AUG 2004 - and the line is the same
2. there are so many nix derivates out there - can you guarantee, that the
new line will work everywhere!

What about making a symlink in /usr/bin/perl to /usr/local/bin/perl ?

Thomas,

Would it be possible, for the *nix builds to change the shebang to:

#!/usr/bin/env perl

My perl executable on Debin is located in '/usr/local/bin' and I have to
modify assp.pl every release; the above finds it just fine.

Thanks!

Doug
