Surprised that no one spoke about Minsara Kanavu, or did I miss the mail as usual? I always felt that Prabhu Deva is one choreographer who complemented ARR's music beautifully, right from his Chikku Bukku days. But somewhere along the line, PD seemed to be very repetitive with his steps and lacked the spark he had in Chikku Bukku and Kadhalan.
But Minsara Kanavu proved me wrong. All the songs were shot beautifully and the dance steps were just magnificient! Who would have thought such amazing steps could be choreographed for a romantic number such as Vennilave Vennilave? Mana Madurai and Strawberry Kanne on the other hand were just just vibrant with colours and sleek steps. You could never tell where ARR's music starts and where PD's steps ends...they just went hand in hand.
