Gopal bro... It really hurts when u add Amit's name along with Anandh's. Mithoon, though no where near Anandh, is really a big talent. His compositions for Lamhaa were truly classy, esp, Mein Kaun Hoon, which had shades of Dilse in it!
Anyway, as u said, Couples Retreat certainly has a superior sound. VTV too was okay. >From early days, ppl say that ARR songs are slow poisons (For me this was from Sivaji onwards). Nowadays, I feel, they have become SLOWER to grow on the audience...mainly because, of the sound factor. Iam quite worried about Endhiran because, the album is said to be one of the best experiments of ARR; so it shouldnt lack sound quality, as in the case of other recent albums. Ofcourse, Sridhar would be missed in Endhiran.. But shouldnt be missed to the extent we are missing him in Puli.
