Of course, AR crafts/paints music, second by second. There is super detailing that goes behind a song, that its tough to capture them all at one hearing. I think every single song demands a dozen hearing. There were cases where I had felt hearing new sounds irrespective of so many times that I had listened to. Sounds that come out of the blue :).
AR has said that he has used samples, which are legally meant to be used. I think the best usage would be Rangeela's Theme, which was mentioned to be a sample that AR used & built a rock solid theme around it. Man, even today, Rangeela's theme is a stunner. If "O Saya" was nominated for Oscars, why not Rangeela theme :). Damn, if Oscars could lend their ears to all the evergreens of AR, I'm sure they would give out the "Lifetime Achievement Award" for a Living Legend. Check out one of my very old post, which i had written in my blog, about our Mozart of India. Hoping you would enjoy reading it. http://kittu-mama-solraan.blogspot.com/2006/09/arrahman-revolution.html Kitcha --- In [email protected], "theepr" <the...@...> wrote: > > of course those R Digital Samples available in any instrument Or commercial > loops in computers..
