Fake! or shall i say misleading, the thing about DTS is its primarily for theatrical multi channel playback. Theres a format call DTS HD audio which can be converted into 2 channel audio, but so can any format be converted into CD format.
The only surround sound audio CD available is called SACD ( Super Audio CD), which has a surround layer and a normal CD layer. This plays only in SACD compatbible players ( look for SACD logo) in your system. All sony 5.1 home theatres play it. I have one SACD of a country music artist and its just brilliant!!!!.Its very rare, but available.
