I'm not sure I agree with you, Vinayakam. If someone doesn't spell/pronounce your name correctly, won't you correct that person? It has nothing to do with how great the person is or what he has achieved etc. It's just a matter of getting the name right!
Just a simple correction does the trick, however sometimes ppl repeatedly spell/pronounce names incorrectly, and thats not good is it? In Karan's case, I'm sure he did not mean any offence. But, he needs to be politely told what the correct name is. I've seen a lot of sources where ARR's name is spelled as 'Rehman', and some where its 'Rahman'.
