Now, the duo has come together again for a documentary called Son of a
Preacherman that chronicles the life of the multiple award-winning artist and
producer P J Morton himself.

Mumbai: Double Oscar-winner AR Rahman is ready to roll out his first ever
non-filmy Western music album. He has teamed up with acclaimed soul singer PJ
Morton to produce a record that will have the both of them jamming together.
A source close to the development says, "Rahman and Morton had teamed up for
the soundtrack of the Hollywood Vince Vaughn-starrer Couples Retreat and jammed
together in the song Sajna. They had bonded really well. Now, the duo has come
together again for a documentary called Son of a Preacherman that chronicles
the life of the multiple award-winning artist and producer P J Morton himself.
More importantly, Rahman and Morton are once again coming together for a record
that will be Rahman's first ever Western album."
The source adds, "After working on Sajna, they both decided to work together
and strengthen their relationship. It was Morton's wish that Rahman come on
board the cast of the movie based on his life. The movie will have scenes
showing Morton's relationship with his Christian father Paul Morton."
In the past, Rahman has had successful pairings with various international
artistes he has worked with. His aide adds, "Morton and Rahman have had a great
time working together. So, his association with Morton can always become more.
We cannot say what he is planning now."
