Most people would not. In fact, if I were a stranger to Rahman and his music, I wouldn't believe it if someone told me they are by the same composer. It's truly unprecedented I think in the history of music worldwide the amount of versatility and range that Rahman is capable. There have been some great composers in this world, but I say none as versatile and with the range that AR has demonstrated in his career.
