A.R. Rahman Developing Tribute Album For Michael Jackson August 14, 2009 10:31 a.m. EST Anne Lu - Celebrity News Service News Writer Los Angeles, CA (CNS) - Academy Award winning composer A.R. Rahman is reportedly developing an album in memory of Michael Jackson. The tribute LP will include international musicians. The special album will allegedly contain recreated songs of the King of Pop along with Rahman's original compositions. Rahman collaborated with Jackson on the song, "Ekam Satyam," in 1999. He met him again earlier this year at the Academy Awards in Los Angeles. Meanwhile, Indo-American statesman Rajan Zed welcomes the planned project, saying Jackson had a special bond with India and Hinduism. He had reportedly learned meditation and was a vegetarian. Rahman received numerous praises from his score on "Slumdog Millionaire." He won the Critics' Choice Award and the Golden Globe for Best Original Score, as well as two Academy Awards for Best Original Music Score and Best Original Song.
