One singer i would have loved to listen would be MS Subbalakshmi singing to his tunes. Considering the magic that he created for Lata Mangeshkar in Tu hi bharosa and luka chipi, it would have been a remarkable combination, with Rahman using MS's subtle gamakams into his composition.
