The who’s who of music industry would come together under music composer Praveen Mani for a mega event organized by Rotary Club of Chennai Coastal to pay rich tributes pop king Michael Jackson, who passed away recently.
Speaking to reporters in Chennai on Wednesday, Praveen Mani said, “MJ was a legend in himself. The musical show will happen at Wesley Grounds, Royappettah in Chennai on 29 August will bring together who’s who of music fraternity including Shankar, Ehshan, Loy, Karthi, Benny Dayal, Sunitha Sarathy, Selva Ganesh, Joshua Sridhar, Suresh Peters, Timothy Madhukar, Naresh Iyer, Keith Peters, Anu Cheyur.” Interestingly, 29 August happens to be the birthday of MJ and we found it appropriate to hold the concert, Praveen Mani said and added, “all leading vocalists and musicians who worked with Oscar award winning A R Rahman will perform on the day”. Also the proceeds of the show would be utilized for autistic children, palliative care and for the specially abled, causes that MJ stood for in his life.
