Srini thanks a ton for your answer and translation. wow.. i must say what wonderful lyrics this song have. no doubt that Vairamuthu also won national award for it. knowing the meaning has doubled the pain of the song. and regarding MSV, i only recently learned that he is a legendary music composer himself. no doubt his singing did wonders to the song. i liked his singing in that song of Sangamam too (don't remember the title. he sings something like "makhne wa" in it).
