I think repetative singing of Ghazals has made Jagjit singh a melancholic and pessimistic person..so he can not admire songs which reflect hope,enthusiasm and optimism. Afterall it needs guts to appreciate others' works and their success. Unfortunately Mr. Jagjit singh lacks it.
