We worked on our first demos with A.R. Rahman in his Panchatan studios. This
was before he became perhaps the most famous Indian musician. The long hours in
the studio were spent in a relaxed way with Rahman, who would add a few
keyboard tracks or doctor the mix. Years later Rahman invited me to play in one
of his songs, Kamosh Raat, for a Hindi film, my only contribution to the Indian
film industry.
