I had debate with some of my relatives who'r older and admire composers like Madan mohan,Naushad or Shankar jaikishen etc.. >From their point of view older ways of recording songs is more respectable. Is older way of recording where singers, musicians and composer used to sing/play parallely is more prestigious than 'cut and join later' techiniques?..then what's the benifit of technogy?..Older people always tell that now -a days bad singing can be corrected using softwares..so is it eaisier for today's composer to record a song? They ask where ARR would have been in contemporary with composers like Naushad,SDBurman,Madan mohan etc..I ask 'could these people use the very best of technology so effectively like ARR'?!!..they fell silent ..silence meant 'no'..and the debate stopped!!!!!!!!!! want your say!!!
