Yuvvraaj took me a bit to latch on, but it continues to rise for me.
Dost, Muskura, Zindagi, Mohiney, Rishta.....what amazing tracks...
The only downer was Shano. But, the other tracks more than make up
for this weak link. The arrangements in this album have so much
beauty...it's just a beautifully ornate album as far as arrangements
with lots of delicacy and intricacy. Tons and tons of oozing melody
with great experimentation of various genres. To me, Yuvvraaj is a
big highlight of 2008 and one of Rahman's best. How he continues to
create such beautiful and ORIGINAL compositions is just mind boggling.
