Simbu, SPB, Radha Ravi dub for Naanum KoteeswaranS.P. Balasubramaniam, Radha Ravi and Simbu will dub for the Naanum Koteeswaran, the Tamil dubbed version of Slumdog Millionaire, a film which has become the toast of the cinema world. This film is about a young near-illiterate slum-dweller who emerges a grand winner at the Kaun Banega Crorepathi contest beating all the odds. Amazed by its unique story and screenplay, Tamil film producer Natarajan bought its Tamil and Telugu dubbing rights for a whopping sum of Rs. 70 lakhs! Natarajan plans to release the dubbed version on February 14th. Slumdog Millionaire is a British film made with London-based actor Dev Patel (hero), Indian actors Frieda Pinto (heroine), Anil Kapoor and Irrfan Khan. In the Tamil version, while Simbu dubs for the protagonist, S.P. Balasubramaniam and Radha Ravi dub for Anil Kapoor and Irrfan respectively. ‘Jai Ho’ in Slumdog Millionaire earned A.R. Rahman and India their first Golden Globe. The film has also earned 10 Oscar nominations, of which three are A.R.
