What the heck. ARR has given music for the ghazals of timeless poets like Daag and Momin. Even Gulzar himself would agree that these were great poets and he stands nowhere if comparison to them. > *Of late, he has been confining himself to jazzy and > folksy-fusion Indi-pop. He seems to be just incapable of phrasing his sentences politely. He should understand that ARR has to provide type of music that his producers ask him to give and the producers/ directors are bound by the script boundaries. Tehzeeb director wanted ghazals, so ARR had given it. Whenever he feels that a ghazal would do the magic, he would surely give. Ghazals are indeed a great form of expression. But, I can say that any non-ghazal song of ARR is more expressive than any ghazal. > *But would the /ghazal/ maestro be 'game' to recordfilmi ghazals for > Rahman? "Surely, why not? But speaking in such ugly manner, JS has lost respect of thousands of his listeners. -- Rawat
