A.R.RAHMAN SAID IN AN INTERVIEW WHILE ON HAJ TO ARAB NEWS IN 2006 AS UNDER, "Muslims should go to lengths to follow the basics, which say 'be kind to your neighbors, keep smiling when you meet others, pray and do charity.' We should serve humanity. We should not show hostility toward others, even to the followers of other faiths. This is what Islam stands for. We should present before the world a model through our behavior, nature and presentation. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) never used his sword to spread Islam; rather he spread the religion through his virtues, behavior, tolerance and righteousness. And this is what is needed to change today's distorted image of Islam." And the Hindu brethren need not feel disturbed, for it is one of their kith who has won. Just like how Kenya celebrated an American Obama's victory, rejoice for he is one among us. The Truth is Gods do not fight among themselves for they are one. Every Religion preaches the same Universal truth but by different methods. Even Hinduism propagates the same but only says that you can see him as whomever but have faith, while other religions insist on being particular. As long as faith is there Victory is for sure. The faith may be on "no God", but if true and immense it is supported by the god. The prophet himself has said that There is no god other than Allah. How true. he must have meant that 'no god' is an equal supreme entity as god and together they make the world. If something which we call God made everything then surely that something which we call God came from nothing and hence nothing super ceded God and so his Father. God will be as loving to his sons as to the believers of his father. Allah is kind and helpful if faith truly is bestowed upon him. For that it is not necessary to call him so and can chose to call him by any name but Faith is essential to contact. God helps all those who have immense faith. That faith can be on anything, something or even nothing. For anything, something and everything is full of him. http://www.chennaitvnews.com/2009/01/slumdog-rehman.html -- regards, Vithur
