When I was watching NDTV yesterday I thought the stay order is worldwide and
not just for TN. What the hell this producer has been waiting for till the
last minute? This movie has been in the making for a long time. If the court
is meeting only after New Year then it will be a 2009 release, isn't it? I
thought this is one of the best promoted movies in recent times and this is
what you get now.

Chennai: The Madras High Court on Tuesday stayed the release of Aamir
Khan-starrer Hindi film Ghajini, that hits the screens on Thursday.

Justice T R Shiva Kumar granted the stay on a plea by A Chandrasekharan, the
producer of the original Tamil film of the same name, on which the Hindi
remake is based.

The court has granted leave for appeal. The court is going on winter
vacation from Wednesday and will meet after the New Year.
