Hi All,

My small observation on all those threads that we have been
discussing nowadays that our Boss's music is not as it was before so
called "fall" etc….. etc….

If you just observe all the past greatest works of our boss which of
course are also the greatest musicals in Indian cinema, they are with
Directors like Maniratnam, Shankar, K Balachander, Bharatiraja, Rajiv
Menon, Kathir, Subhash Ghai, Ram Gopal Verma, Ashutosh and Rakeysh
Mehra (Recently), and I don't think any of those musicals of our boss
with the above Directors have ever disappointed "some" of us and we
all know that those albums were masterpiece in composition and
presentations as well from the Directors. I hope the same trend will
continue with these directors in future projects.

In one of the interviews ARR himself had mentioned that he is like a
box of surprise gifts and fortunately Mani always picks the right
ones where some of the directors fail. (I don't remember the exact
wordings as this was somewhere in late 90s)

I am neither blaming the other directors, the songs of whose movies
are let down for "some" fans nor I am saying ARR is not capable of
delivering consistently irrespective of the Directors, what I would
like to mention is every music director or director have their weak
points/ areas. Its only in those combination of Directors and MDs
great records are created and to be honest the so called let down
songs of ARR are far far far better than whats produced by other MDs,
which we all agree. I always enjoy them as I do with other gems.
