Dear All, Today, watched Udaya Film in Jaya TV. I am watching it for the first time. I liked the movie for the script and of course for the wonderful songs of the Boss. Pravinmani had done a good job with respect to the BGMs. I wonder, why good movies, with good scripts dont do well in the box office. May be this movie, lacked the proper screen play, and the tempo of a usual Vijay starrer movie.
Has anyone watched this movie in theatres ?. Did they delete the song " Inikkum Sundarye" sung by SPB & janaki ?. The song featured only for two lines, and then was deleted. I just love the songs in this movie. and I would rank it in this order 1. Udaya Udaya 2. Enna Enna 3. Pookum Malarai 4. Thrivellikani Raani 5. Inikkum Sundaiye There is onething that I observed. In a scene , i could hear the tune of " Kadhal Yanai varugiraan Remo" tune of Harris Jeyaraj ( Anniyan). The tune was played as a small bit. if I can get the VCD of the movie, can rip that and confirm it. Has anyone observed the same ? Unfortunately, both the VIjay starrer movies, for which the music was done by Boss didnt go well with the fans of Vijay, as both the movies were quality scripts with some good story. I would certainly like to see our Boss doing music for Vijay starrer films in future, as they would have more of fast paced songs, and Vijay does well, when it comes to dancing to our Boss 's tunes.
