Depending on 'Yuvvraaj' Subhash Ghai is trying his level best to make 'Yuvvraaj' a success and answer all those who questioned his 'showman' tag.
After all he earned it so hard after super duper over the years like 'Karz' , 'Vidhaata', 'Hero' 'Karma', 'Ram Lakhan', 'Saudagar', 'Pardes' ,'Taal' etc. The man can't let it go just like that! After the ambitious 'Yaadein' and 'Kisna' tanked many thought that Mr. Ghai would retire and only produce movies. But actually all the time he was actually busy planning this Mozart style musical where love binds music, 'music is the food of love' and stuff like that! Must say he has accumulated quite a big cast. He patched up with Salman Khan after a long standing enmity, signed his 'suddenly turned hot and lucky' lady love Katrina and old favourite Anil Kapoor as well. And yes, Mithun Chakraborty and young gun Zayed Khan also. Since it's a musical he's has the best talent in the country, the cream of the lot-Gulzar and AR Rahman. Not to forget the pretty foreign locales and lovely sets and costumes. It had name changes too before numerology stepped in to help. It was 'Yuvraj' and 'Main Yuvraj' before finally becoming 'Yuuvraaj'. Wonder why after so much , the films teasers and song promos give a feeling that the movie has a some similarity to the post interval part of 'Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam' as well Ghai's own 'Pardes' and 'Taal'! That's just a feeling, but the big question is if the film turns out to be damp squib, will Subhash Ghai give up direction finally?
