These kind of comments are common in the reality shows. there are instances when the judges in SaReGaMaPa had said for a contestant that he had sung the Satrangi Re better than the original which was absolute baseless. Even a normal listener who dont understand Sur, Taal would say that the contestant had goofed up that song. But you have to sometimes also think that the relaity show these days are just a show piece like WWF whose only ideology is TRP and marketing. So they have to fill these kind of dialogs though baseless and bakwaas. There are examples when judges have contemplated that the contestants' rendition was much better than that of Lataji & Ashaji's. Now who on earth will believe but their target is to please those fans who would pour SMS listening to these statements, happens. On another note ARR is one such Music director who has used a potential of the singers their specialty to the max than being hard and strict for the note. Consider the "Jaane tu" from Runa, there are places where she misses but on the other side it gives a feel (timbre) which makes the song impeccable. This can only happen in the hands of a genius. another example is the "Lukka Chippi" & "Jiya Jale" and its now no secret that ARR had craftily manipulated the flaws in Lataji's voice because of the age factor to sound impeccable again. At the same time he is a master to get the best from Hariharan in Tu Hi Re, Chanda re... similarly Satrangi re by Sonu Nigam..
Though it hurts a lot but if you learn the reality you will have a reason to forgive Vishal or Himesh or Ismail.
