Vithur and Bergin posted an article on London Dreams from HT online, but the
article was dated 2006 (showed up on the website today, for some strange
reason) and referred to the original launch of the film. I went looking in the
print edition and found this instead:

W ith the way things are going, the makers of London Dreams might as well
re-title their film Abhi Haan Abhi Naa. The Rajkumar Santoshi directed
muchhyped musical which was reportedly shelved, is all set to stage a comeback.
According to a source ever since reports of the film being shelved started
appeared in the press, Param Jeet Singh has been trying to get the nod from
Salman Khan so London Dreams doesn't remain just a dream. "He's already
incurred an expenditure of Rs 10 crore and is in no position to write off the
loss," states the source. Another Amadeus Based on the Hollywood musical
Amadeus, the story revolves around two friends who want to rule the Asian
underground music in UK. Santoshi had roped in Ajay Devgan for the other role.
Soon after the film began with a day's shoot at the Golden Temple in Amritsar,
differences cropped up between Singh and Santoshi. Announcement soon Adding to
their woes, they couldn't get a replacement for Priyanka Chopra after Khan
reportedly ousted her from the project.
Before Khan went to London for the unveiling of his wax replica at Madame
Tussauds, Singh met him once again. "That's when Salman called Rajji and spoke
about reviving the film," informs the source. "Rajji is open to the idea and
reacted positively ."
Confirming the reports, Santoshi says, "Yes, we are talking about the project.
If everything goes well, we should make an official announcement soon."
Khan and Devgan are still his choices for the protagonists. After their dates
are worked out, he will scout for a heroine.
Suneel Darshan's Shakalaka Boom Boom was also inspired by Amadeus. It bombed
big time last year.
