ARR is not a warrior, he is quite certainly a God. He is a simple man.
But history has proved that many simple man have done great deeds. Not for
themselves, but for the benefit of others...
ARR, likewise, has been amongst the 1st to come forward in support of various
causes...
'Taj Anthem' in more than 8 languages....
'Tsunami' song... listen to it & u can feel the pain & suffering..
'Banyan Theme' giving hope to those who have lost it..
and above all
Vande Mataram... many generations will come & go... but this album with stay
FOREVER.
u don't have to sacrifice ur life, and prove that u deserve a Bharat Ratna.
I believe every soul that can bring peace to one's heart... deserves
recognition... be that in any form.
ARR is not the GOD of MUSIC... MUSIC is a GOD for ARR.

I am one of the biggest fans of ARR..
but Bharata Ratna ?. He is not there yet.
I am sure he would agree.
Lata Mangeshkar, Bismillah Khan, Ravi Shankar, and M.S.Subbulakshmi
are the only Bharata Ratnas from the music field.
Of course there are a lot of non-sensical political awardees..
But I think it's way too early for ARR.
Padma Bhushan.. ? yes, I would vote for that.
