There is no confirmation either way about instrumentals on the CD. However, back in December, Ashutosh Gowarikar announced that there would be instrumentals on the CD.
Here is what he said verbatim after explaining the release delay at that time due to supposedly working on the inlay artwork: >From Ashutosh Gowarikar at Jodha Akbar Forums, Topic Music Launch December 17, 2007 - 522P "Hey, I forgot to mention in my post that we have added to instrumental tracks in addition to the 5 songs on the audio. Hence we wanted to ensure that the in lay designs do justice to the film and the music. We are just figuring out the dates and as soon as we lock on a new music release date, I will let you all know, and I promise not to change it again :)"
