Shankars magnum opus, his dream project Robot (its not spelled as Robo) has
become a reality. Sources close to Rajnikanth has confirmed that Robot is going
to be his next film!
Ayngaran International and Eros Multimedia are the producers of Robot.
Speaking exclusively to Sify.com, Karunamoorthy, Chairman of Ayngaran
International said: We are very happy to announce that superstar Rajnikanth,
Shankar along with A.R Rahman are coming together again to make Robot, which is
going to be made in four languages Tamil, Hindi, Telugu and English.
Robot is going to be the most expensive film ever made in India. Ayngaran is
expected to issue a press statement later today (Jan 5) to formally announce
the film. The shoot of the film is likely to start in the summer of 2008, and
it will be a dream come true for Shankar. The technicians who will work for the
film will be chosen in the next few days while the rest of the star cast will
be selected closer to the shoot. We at sify.com wishes Rajnikanth,
