What has been irking me more than 'ARRahman not crediting IR' is 'why IR has not been instrumental in bringing out ARR's talent to the world'. ARR has worked with IR for sometime, I would have expected IR to pass the mantle. Why it has to be a director Mani Ratnam who heard about Rahmans talent from word of mouth. Ofcourse a gifted talent like ARR is not going to be hidden away. I have been a fan of IR since 70s. I did not know much about the early years of ARR, as I myself came to know his greatness as late as 1996. I am not trying to stir up any contraversy, it is too late anyway, it is just something I have been wondering but not opened up.
