I don't see "much" issues with that....

May be ARR did not like to mention his name. It's OK...

He may have had some bad experience with IR. IR never gave due respect to
his musicians. He is very emotional & had clash with many. He is known for
that. That's what it makes me think....

Also both of them have criticized each other in the past..

IR quoting... 'these days lots of computer music and 'Stuff'

ARR quoting... 'If someone uses tabla in all of their songs, people are
still ok... but when I make music....'

but they are slowly, willingly / unwillingly, patching up the issues, I
think....

But I would say it's IR who revolutionised tamil music more than anybody
else (before ARR). He certainly has his place on top of MSV, PS, KVM. (BTW
'Puthiya Paravai', is one of the greatest albums). Nobody can suppress that.


KVM was a genius. But he did not produce much songs & they never reached
beyond TN.

However can't compare IR & ARR.
