hie guys. I watched Guru recently. Overall its a good movie. Typical Mani sir
movie. Worth watching it. just few things i didn't like much:
1. The picturisation of barso re n mayya mayya..its like the songs were just
thrown in without a reason or careful editing. it just comes n goes suddenlly.
expecially mayya mayya...ended as a background.
2. The exceptional song ai hairathe most awaited song was just a BGM!!!
Dissapointing...
3. tere bina was ok.. though rehman's voice clearly doesn't suit
abishek..looked funny..everyone in cinema were laughing..:)
4. Topic on Gandhi ji is unacceptable n unnecessary..
5. BGM was so so only except the barso re flute pieces was awesome..Dilse
BGM was better..
6. Madhavan was good.
7. Jaage Hain was good. *****
8. The drama at the Industrial Court was like a kollywood typical movie..
9. The movie was too draggy..with unnecessary clips in it..like the song ek
lo mufti
10. Choreogrphic was good.
Overall: In Malaysia i presume the screening can last atleast a month;
publicity is bad in Malaysia; another Mani Ratnam tragedy movie; a failure at
the end of the day like aayuthe yeluthu.
For those who wanna go n watch..there are plenty of good messages in it, just
dnt go alone..u might fall asleep. b accompanied.
