We discuss RAHMAN's music here, not necessarily the movies his songs are used. For us, it DOES not make a single difference to our love of Rahman music if the movie he is associated with is HIT or FLOP or even if it DOES NOT GET RELEASED AT ALL! We DO NOT CARE ! We are here to appreciate Rahman's music and take inspiration from his life and philosophy. A movie's hit or flop has no relevance to us AT ALL ! I have not seen GURU, but I bought the audio CD on day 1 it was released. I LOVED THE MUSIC OF GURU ! As it is the right of the music director how he wants to compose a tune and arrange the orchastration, it is also a right of the movie director to use the song and / or introduce his heroine in any way he feels it will enhance the movie's strength.
