Dear Rahmaniacs,

I always have been a cricket fan even though my school back in SL was and is the leading football
playing college. Since my arrival in UK I have not been following cricket at all.. as in UK
cricket is not the first preference when it comes to public broadcasting (national TV).... its
available but on Satellite Channels. Mostly over here its footy (that's slang for Football)..

For the last whole year.. I have been following Football with my friends.. now as the Football
World Cup is nearing .. I followed the last two England matches... surprisingly out of some of
their cheering music one distinctively sounds like the "Oruvan Oruvan Mudalali" trumpet beat...
Some of my friends pointed it out to me too.. I couldn't understand .... follow the England
matches.... and see whether you guys hear it too.. or its just me and my friends hearing things..
:-)

Rgds,

Mirza.
