despite being a fantastic show, the other side of the coin was that show's promos were misleading. The show started off with one american girl (from miami university) singing ramta jogi song. though we should appreciate the effort put by these american kids to learn indian music, they simply killed hindi.
Predominantly, songs in the show were sung by 150 "stars" in a killing hindi language. but it was a nice place to be in for a r rahman, crowd was reverberating and it was a great atmosphere to be in.
as for me, I dont regret travelling a thousand miles to see a r rahman but in a common man's perspective, the show was a disappointment.
