There is no rivarlry between IR & ARR , as many pple believe. It is only fans who argue abt their competencies and hencebring out thr rivalry.. if there was one, why wud IR record some songs in ARR's studio( he did..i have one album which mentions that in album credits and i have seen few tamil film albums of IR which had same credits...to Panchathan Record Inn)..ARR praises IR a lot and IR too appreciated ARR's music on many occassions. and how can there be any rivalry when both worked together and understand the wave-length of each other. ot just IR, even his sons have good opinions abt ARR.and both IR and ARR have carved their own kingdoms of music...lets not debate this issue more..lets only discuss the music & the technical part where the collaboration sparked magic..as in the case of Punnaghai mannan and Sadma.
