I'm talking about SJS as a director and not as an actor when I talk about the picturizations. I don't care about his looks or whatever. I'm not "degrading" him. Just saying that I found the song picturizations to fall short of the music given to him by ARR.
To be fair to SJS, the shooting and editing of the songs is slightly better than most Tamil films, where the camera sits like a Nandi in front of a group of dancers. But after listening to such a wonderful song as Anbe Aaruyire it is disappointing to see a standard group dance picturization. And SJS's picturizations are certainly not the worst.
