I too agree, Swadesh is ARR's best bgm effort till date. Even to some extent I love Yuva. But swadesh is my all time favourite. The use of indian instruments in Swadesh was exceptional. I still get goose bumps when I listen to Swadesh BGM's.

However, I agree with Vishwsant that this score did not impress me a
whole lot. There are bits and pieces in this score that are just
brilliant, but overall, it's a bit too hollywoodish. Swades' BGM was
more spiritual and more Indian sounding, as well as more diverse.
There is a lack of ethnic flavor in this score. But, this is just an
observation of the score by itself. Without a doubt, with the movie,
this score is absolutely perfect and enhances each situation in the
movie incredibly......the best BGM score since Swades.
