The song is played on in the key of E.
The chords in the key of E are
E, F#m, G#m, A, B, C#m and D# (diminished)
But only E, A, B and C#m are used in the song (atleast, thats what i play)
Here are the basic chords. But I have used lots of variations like Asus2, Add9, B5, Badd11 and Emaj7(without the 3rd).
Basic structure of the song is something like this:
