u cannot break the woods in india so easily as it is like a mole with us. and pple dont bother abt it. if at all the indian films bureau & ministry of info & broadcasting together should pass a unicode resolution through the press bureau, hereafter indian films irrespective of its languages should be termed as only indian films or indian movies or whatever that gives a general term to show its national integration in international arena. otherwise nothing will happen. but bollywood in particular wont prefer to lose its identity and keep on continuing only with b'wood. like u everyone has so many grievances in many areas & fields and we are all accepting it with tolerance and thats where we are secular. Just bcoz US has Hollywood, it doesn't mean indians have to follow them. We are significant in our own ways and we should maintain it. This naming convention only represents one continents of India. If even in Cinema Industry we have such mentality, how does India going to unite as one nation to face the future. This mentality need to be breaked, or else India will only be represented by only one continent (Bollywood).There lotz of great movies from other parts of India other than Bolly. They should be given equal competing rights.

I understand this terms are being used as marketing tools, but it should represent the whole nation. Though i'm not from India, I have concern and passion for the nation where my grandparents came from. I believe cinema is great medium to unite the whole nation to work as one. ARR believes music has no barriers in terms of culture,language and religion.Most of articles this days portrays ARR as Bollywood Composer, the fact of the matter is he an Indian composer,moreover he is an International Composer.

So ..guyz take ur axe and saw to break the * woods and letz call it Indian Movies.
