Hi frns.. I bet ...hw many musicians in india can make a soulful melody like this...with just human voice as main lead in a complete song..
Whomever reading this mail...Plzz..do this for me.. listen Rasaaathi (from Thiruda Thiruda) in headphones...with full volume...n try to concentrate on the tune... Its not that this is the first time i am hearing this song...I might hav listend more than 500 times.. But what prompted me to write this msg is that..some ppl were describing our boss as "out of form"... let me tell you..if this guy's heart is soaked with such sweet melodies... In what sense they can call him as out of form...?? Then one should say ilayaraja became outof form from 1992(our boss' debut).. I am challengin all...Tell me another musician in india(...whtr its ilayaraja,MS Vishwanathan, Devarajan or RD Burman..) ...has made this much soulful melodies (count the total number of "HIT" melodies they'd composed respectively..).. can anyone argue for this much "consistency" as our boss?.. guys....his heart is god's gift.. and he himself is a gods special gift for all of us that this legend is living in our time..... ..so plzz stop such kinda nonsense msgs if smdby doesnt like any of his songs.. If again anyone feels that he is out of form...think like this.."Whtever he has produced till date is far beyond comparison of any musicians in india..and has achieved far more than all of them.."
