Hey ppl, Here's my take on the music of RDB,This is not a review.Just a first impression.Ik onkar-sounds good though doesn't seem to linger.Khoon chala has nice vocals and will take time to grow.Khalbali is outa the world.The percs are amazing,and ARR's voice and style of singing is totally novel! Nothing much to say abt the aamir song as yet.Roobaroo is a pleasant surprise with a countryish guitaring and again gr8 vocs.Both versions of paatshaala sound good(only good as of now).Rang de basanti rocks!!And as i expected(yes!) it sounds very different from what we got from the trailer.Ipersonally feel Shakra Mahadevan would have made a riot out of this song(esp the thodi si...parts) had he sung it(take nothing away frm daler).The madhusree-naresh song is lilting and my first impression is that its one of the typical ARR melodies like azhagae sugama(paarthaaley paravasam) or saanwariya(swades).Now the piece de resistance.This song stands testimony to ARR's genius(aren't we tired of spking abt it? hell no!!).This song makes me feel ARR is the best singer in the world!! What a grand entry he makes in this song!Great guitaring,great tabla ,heck everything abt this song is great.This song is like a stairway to heaven.I mean u start from earth and tis song takes u to heaven as it progresses.I am simply crazed about the swaras by ARR and Lata and the dhomthana.... This album will certainly last long in the charts.ARR rocks!!
