Rajiv Menon who directed Kandukondain Kandukondain in Tamil and worked as cinematographer for many films including Bombay has signed Amitabh Bachchan for a Hindi film. He has cast Vidya Balan, the Palghat girl who hit the limelight with Parineeta, as the heroine.
