Very cool blog...I guess there are hard core ARR fans even outside this group! :) Just messin..I'm sure there are millions of them.
One thing that especially caught my eye is the bloggers praise of the song 'Uyirum Neeye' by Unnikrishnan...how true...what a song that is. Since the day I first heard that song..sometime last year while looking for Azhagu Nilave, another gem, and other songs from Pavitra in iTunes I found the song.. man I listen to it vurtually everyday. It blows my mind how good a singer Unnikrishnan is. This song has to rank way up there in Tamil Music as one of the best vocal performances. It's got so much beauty to it...the guitar, mridangam combination is unbelievable! I wish I could speak Tamil to sing along with this song man...it is friggin awesome. :) But until I do, I'll have to sing a little bs..lol. It's all good..it's the feeling that it gives you that matters! If someone would be kind enough to post a translation of this song, I'd be most thankful.
