A few months back I wrote about (see message #50062) how the 'ARR ftp site' was facilitating mass sharing of mp3 which is obviously illegal. I was relieved to see the moderator take down the site since it meant that he was interested in keeping a clean slate.
Later he brought back the ftp site and I presumed that checks were going to be made to have a control over what was being uploaded and not let the situation get out of hand. Unfortunately it looks like the admin is just not bothered about what you upload. Although he did remove a few songs from Bose when I asked him to (more than a month back), there's still a lot of stuff (Bose intstrumentals, some of the Bombay Dreams tracks....) thats in the site. I thought a little patience would help and sent emails (a few weeks back) to the admin requesting him to remove the illegal content but I havent had any response to the 2 emails I sent, and no action was taken. It therefore comes as no big surprise to see the same admin ask for more pirated content. Gopal, I know you have a tough job at hand moderating the huge volume of messages but perhaps it would be a good idea to allow a few others whom you trust to have moderatorship powers. That would reduce the individual burden and help filter out such mails as the one below.
