The movie you are referring to is actually called 'The Gentleman', and the film itself IS based on the Arjun-Madhubala Tamil film 'Gentleman', which as we all know has music by ARR, and had a Telugu version as well to start with. The songs in 'The Gentleman' were All composed by Anu Malik. (Or at least they are all credited to him.) However, he remade three of the songs from the original tamil Gentleman, mostly (but not completely) with the original instrumentation and all. (I believe it has something to do with the fact that the movie itself was a remake.) The track listing for the film is as follows: 1.Roop Suhana Lagta Hai - S.P.Bala, Chitra 2.Hum Apne Gham Ko - Vinod Rathod, Sadhana Sargam 3.Jhoom Ke Dil Ne - S.P.Bala, Chitra 4.What is Love - Alisha Chinai, Anu Malik 5.Aashiqui Mein Had Se - Vinod Rathod, Sadhana Sargam 6.Chik Pika Rika Boom Bole - Suresh Peters Track 1 is a remake of 'Ottagatthai Kattiko', Track 5 is a remake of 'Uslampatti Pennkutti' and Track 6 is a remake of 'Chikubuku Rayile'. The songs that were left out were 'En Veetu Thotthatthil' and 'Paarkaadhe Paarkadhe'. Tracks 2, 3 and 4 are original. Hope this answers all your queries.
