Hi folks,
is there any successful installation with OpenBSD on a Raspi 5? I tried
a lot during the last weeks, but anythings failed.
I used the "official" miniroot77 and miniroot78.img and tried
installations from sd card, nvme and usb-ssd. The systems alway boot up
into the u-boot image right top on the screen. That's it.
When I boot the edk firmware from sc card, I can select the the nvme or
usb ssd. Then I get the OpenBSD boot prompt and may enter "set tty
fb0". OpenBSD then start und runs properly into the small installation
menu. Looks fine, but the system now has no keyboard support, so I
ended up here.
Booting into the Pi's uart (tried the standard uart as well as the GPIO
uart) nothing comes over the uart to my cua host. No support of serial
communication?

At this time I have no more ideas and have given it up. Otherwise the
OpenBSD description about raspi5 support looks so positive! What am I
doing wrong?

After running several Raspi 4B and also an handfull of BananaPI M5 it
is time for the next SOC generation - or not?

Any hint whtas going wrong here?

Thx & kind regards
Berni
