My OpenBSD 6.8 was running on RPI4B-8GB before, and for the past month
on RPI4B-2GB (USB 2 only in both cases). I have installed OpenBSD 6.9
onto the tested RPI4B-2GB today to see if the version change causes any
issues, and so far it seems to be working without issues. If it goes
well, I am going to move the USB storage to the previously tested
RPI4B-8GB in a few weeks. If that does not result in the error, it will
be reasonable to presume that the issue is specific to USB 3 or some
specific workload your board is trying to run.
